I was given the chance to review this shea butter, which is perfect because I have been wanting to make my own soaps and lotions!

And that is exactly how I intend to use it!

I don't know about you, but I have heard a lot of hype about tea tree oil. Yet aside from seeing it in shampoo, I really couldn't have told you a thing about the stuff.

I received it quickly & digitally so I read through and was happy to see that I already had many of the ingredients at home to make some of this stuff. There's a lot you can do with the oil and now all that was left was to wait for it to arrive.

Luckily, it didn't take long.

The packaging on this is adorable. I love how vintage and classic it looks. I don't even mind leaving it out on a shelf in the bathroom because it just has this nostalgic quality that makes you realize you are using an ingredient that has been around for years and hey, our ancestors knew what they were doing!



So far, I have mixed it with my face wash and am quite pleased with the results. It left my face smooth and fresh feeling. It doesn't take much and the size of the bottle is great. It says it should last well over a year and I am excited to see what else I can do with this. The recipe guide is quite handy!

I'm still learning how to use it. Flea spray, facial and cleaning products are at the top of my list of recipes to use this in. Do you have any suggestions or favorite uses?

I originally was wanting to use a probiotic because of the recent information going around about Candida overgrowth and its effect in prohibiting weight loss. I do sell Plexus Slim and for maximum effectiveness, they recommend using a probiotic to clean your gut and get this bad bacteria out so that the product can have the full slimming effect.

This is probably not the type of product that you are going to notice an effect the first time you take it. However, within days I could tell that, in conjunction with the cleanse that I was taking, my gut was actually feeling less bloated and able to clear out  in less time, if you know what I mean.
