So clearly I have a thing with shea butter.

It was the only thing to save my severely chapped lips last winter. I tried a ridiculous amount of chapsticks from the store, just one after another when they didn't help. Gobs of money and weeks and weeks later had a split in my lip.

I don't know about you, but I have heard a lot of hype about tea tree oil. Yet aside from seeing it in shampoo, I really couldn't have told you a thing about the stuff.

I received it quickly & digitally so I read through and was happy to see that I already had many of the ingredients at home to make some of this stuff. There's a lot you can do with the oil and now all that was left was to wait for it to arrive.

Luckily, it didn't take long.

The packaging on this is adorable. I love how vintage and classic it looks. I don't even mind leaving it out on a shelf in the bathroom because it just has this nostalgic quality that makes you realize you are using an ingredient that has been around for years and hey, our ancestors knew what they were doing!



So far, I have mixed it with my face wash and am quite pleased with the results. It left my face smooth and fresh feeling. It doesn't take much and the size of the bottle is great. It says it should last well over a year and I am excited to see what else I can do with this. The recipe guide is quite handy!
